Wineglass Bay
Freycinet National Park
Tasmania’s most well-known beach. Wineglass Bay is hidden inside Freycinet National Park, founded in 1916 and Tasmania’s oldest park. The sand here is pearly white, and the water a brilliant turquoise.
You will need a Parks Pass to access Wineglass Bay, and there is no direct car access. Instead, you’ll need to embark on a 1.5-hour hike. This track will take you to the Wineglass Bay lookout, and then it’s one-thousand stairs down to the bay.
Alternatively, you can take a Wineglass Bay Cruise and skip the hike altogether.
